I started my locs May of 2013 and I used the rat tail comb method and loc n twist gel.

My roots are curly and my ends are….. Ummmmmmm lol rough.
What is wash day like for you?
Actually I love wash day I can see my real length THE SHRINKAGE IS REAL LOL.

My best hair moment is now! I love it.. For me it shows my confidence to be who I was born to be without all the “extra” that we was taught and showed to be..
Donnie Thornberry
My worst hair moment is when I first started and I didn’t feel cute I looked like Donnie from The Wild Thornberries lol and when my “x” gave me horrible negative feedback.
My good friend “Duck” inspired me to push forward with my loc journey. I use to spend hundreds getting my hair braided, perms and weaves but then money got funny so it was no longer an option to splurge on $300 hairdos!! Without the long weave or braids I didn’t feel so cute, Duck would tell me “baby you’re hot”. I didn’t believe it at first, but he made me see it eventually and my Mom who I adore tells me I’m beautiful all the time, this built me up, also my foundation was strong and my support system was amazing!
No matter how so “not” cute you may feel you’re only as cute and beautiful as you think you are!! Don’t give up on you!! This is who you really are, embrace your natural beauty, our hair is the bomb 💣💣 hunni! Nobody feels me how I feel myself lol, I’m not following my generation I’m following my roots If I can do it you can too.. DON’T GIVE UP.
